Dr. Edmond’s has won many awards, including the Humanitarian Resident Award from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology during her training.
She presented at a national conference on the topic, Antenatal Cocaine Use: Maternal Characteristics and Neonatal Outcomes in a Lower Socioeconomic and Minority Population; 2003-ACOG. She was also invited to present at the National Medical Association’s Annual Conference on the topic, Is Advance Maternal Age Associated with Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes? A Review of an Urban Underserved Population.
Dr. Edmond attended Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and received her medical degree in 2002. She performed her Ob/Gyn internship at Martin Luther King/Drew Medical Center and residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
